The Finite Element Circus — Fall 2017

The Fall 2017 Finite Element Circus will take place on the UMBC campus on Friday and Saturday, October 20 and 21.

This Circus is supported by funds from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and the College of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at UMBC. There is no registration fee, but please do register to provide us with an idea of the amount of food and refreshments that we provide during the day. Participants are encouraged to stay until the end of the conference, expected around 3:30 pm on Saturday.

Friday, 1:30pm–5:30pm
Talks in ITE 104.
Friday, 6:00pm–8:30pm
Dinner at The Trolley Stop in Historic Ellicott City. Click here for more information.
Saturday, 9:30pm–3:30pm (expected)
Talks in ITE 104, with lunch and coffee breaks (times TBD).

Lunch on Friday

There are several lunch options on the UMBC Campus most of which are located in the Commons Building (see Campus Maps). We recommend the Skylight Room on the top floor.
